For the second-generation Honda Legend, the year 1992 was marked by a modernization that took place at the end of September and introduced a number of changes. First of all, it should be noted the addition of the Touring modification, on which a 235 hp engine is installed. with tuning systems for fuel injection and exhaust gas emission, as well as with connecting rods made by special technology with a special metal coating. In addition, in order to reduce noise and vibration, the engine mounts have been modified. Work was also carried out on the modernization of the suspension, brake system. These changes affected both the sedan and the Honda Legend coupe.
 In addition to some external differences between the Touring model and standard versions, the difference was reflected in the interior of the car. For example, along with the new adaptive automatic transmission, Touring received a different gear knob with a seven-position selector. A new audio system was added to the list of options, the car was equipped with tires increased to 16 inches in landing size. The equipment of the Honda Legend coupe is respected to this day. In the top-end performance, the coupe is "stuffed" in full charge. There are electric sunroof, full power accessories, including electric rear windows, multi-wheel. The doors of the compartment are equipped with active locks with closers, an electric front seat is provided (10 adjustments for the driver with memory and 4 for the passenger), heated seats and side mirrors, genuine leather upholstery, an audio system with a head unit of size 2DIN and 6 speakers.  Given the appearance of the Touring model after restyling, now Honda Legend began to offer two versions of the 3.2 V6 engine. In standard, it develops a maximum power of 215 hp. at 5500 rpm, and the maximum torque reaches a value of 299 Nm at 4500 rpm. In a more powerful version, which has modified intake and exhaust systems, the maximum power speed is increased to 6300, while 235 “forces” are removed from the engine; however, the torque has slightly decreased - up to 289 Nm - and is achieved at 5200 rpm instead of the previous 4500. At the same time, in combination with the new adaptive automatic transmission, the car improved the acceleration time - from 8.4 to 8 seconds. The maximum speed of the coupe remained the same - 231 km / h. As for fuel consumption, after restyling it was slightly reduced and ranged from 11.5 to 12.2 liters per 100 km, allowing you to drive up to 8.7 km per standard liter of gasoline in the standard modification of the coupe and up to 8.2 km in the performance Touring.

 As a front-wheel drive model, the Honda Legend has impeccable driving characteristics that put it on a par with high-end rear-wheel drive cars. The driving performance is also positively influenced by the use of an independent two-link four-wheel suspension. The car is equipped with power steering, disc brakes (front ventilated). The Touring was equipped with sports front brakes with twin piston calipers and oversized brake discs. The standard Legend dvuhdverka was equipped with wheels of size 205 / 65R15, and Touring - 215 / 55R16, its turning radius was slightly increased (from 5.2 to 5.5 m). The dimensions of the Legend coupe after restyling have not changed: length 4880 mm, width 1810 mm, height 1370 mm. Wheelbase 2830 mm. The dimensions of the cabin are: 1790 x 1460 x 1045 mm (L x W x H), which is noticeably smaller in all three dimensions than the sedan (the dimensions of its cabin are 1945 x 1475 x 1130 mm). The compartment luggage compartment is also roomy, with a small loading height.

 After restyling, the basic equipment of the Honda Legend coupe of the second generation includes lateral protection beams in the doors, airbags for the driver and passenger, belts with pretensioners, anti-lock braking system. In the maximum configuration, the TCS traction control was present.
