Infiniti QX70 2 generation 10.2013 - 01.2019

SUV
The QX70 is the new name for the second generation crossover FX, which appeared back in 2008 as part of the renaming of the entire Infiniti lineup. In 2011, the FX model was updated. The crossover received a new grille, new body colors, design of rims. All trim levels have an electric tailgate, you can use it either from a button on the front console, or on the door itself or on the I-Key, while you can program the mechanism for a certain angle of elevation so as not to damage the door in a limited space. The equipment includes heated front seats, navigation, aluminum trim. In 2013, in accordance with the new naming strategy, the Infiniti FX became known as the QX70, in the absence of any special changes. On the Russian market, the Infiniti QX70 is presented only in all-wheel drive versions (for example, the rear-wheel drive version is also available in the United States), with one of three engines under the hood: these are V-shaped “sixes” with a volume of 3.0 liters (diesel, 238 liters. sec.) and 3.7 liters (gasoline, 333 hp), as well as a 5-liter gasoline V8 (400 hp)
Like all Infiniti, the crossover QX70 perfectly "packed." In the exterior of the basic configuration: front and rear "fog", bi-xenon headlights and washers, electric mirrors, factory tinted windows, sunroof, roof rails, rear spoiler. Inside: leather steering wheel with tilt and reach adjustment, start button, leather seat upholstery, front and rear dividing armrests, heated and electric front seats (with memory), remote key and keyless entry system, dual-zone climate control . It is logical that the five-liter Infiniti is the most equipped: all-round cameras, DVD, navigation system, ventilation of the front seats, monitors for rear passengers, a chic Hi-Fi Bose audio system and much more.

The longitudinally mounted gasoline 3.7-liter V6 with a capacity of 333 liters is intended for the European market. with. able to accelerate the crossover to a maximum speed of 233 km / h and in 6.8 seconds to 100 km / h. For a more powerful gasoline version, there is a 5-liter V-shaped "eight" with a return of 400 hp, providing a "maximum speed" of 250 km / h, and acceleration to "hundreds" in just 5.8 seconds. Since 2010, a three-liter 238-hp turbodiesel has also been offered to the European market, which Infiniti inherited from the French from Renault. With this engine, the QX70 accelerates to a maximum of 212 km / h; it takes 8.3 seconds to accelerate to 100 km / h. The average consumption for gasoline V6 and V8 is 12.2 l / 100km and 13.1 l / 100 km, and for a diesel unit - 9 liters per 100 km. The fuel tank has a capacity of 90 liters. As the transmission is a 7-speed “automatic” with manual mode and all-wheel drive with a multi-plate clutch that connects the front wheels. Infiniti QX70 has a front double wishbones suspension and a rear multi-link. The car is equipped with a CDC suspension stiffness adjustment system that changes the settings of the shock absorbers, providing two operating modes - automatic (with adaptation to the quality of the road surface and the nature of driving) and sports, in which the chassis becomes as stiff as possible, and the behavior is as "assembled" as possible. In addition, the expensive QX70 trim levels use a RAS (Rear Active Steer) steering wheel system, and even a small steering effect (within 1 degree) is enough to make the car more confident in cornering. Infiniti QX70 is equipped with ventilated disc brakes front and rear and is equipped with wheels with 20-inch or 21-inch wheels. Crossover dimensions: 4865 x 1925 x 1650 mm (L x W x H), ground clearance - 184 mm.

At the basic level, the QX70 has six airbags (front, front side, full-size curtains), child seat mounts, active head restraints, light and rain sensors, ABS + EBD kit, assisted braking system, electronic stability control, traction control, cruise control , front and rear parking sensors. Other advanced systems can be installed on the QX70: collision avoidance when reversing, warning system for changing lanes and preventing changing lanes, an object detection system in the "dead" zone. In 2009, the Infiniti FX became the first Infiniti car to pass the EuroNCAP test, receiving the highest possible rating of five stars.

It will be right to say that the QX70 occupies a special position in the Infiniti lineup - sporty and elegant, all-wheel drive and relatively inexpensive in its class, with a well-tuned suspension suitable for active driving (it was created on the platform used to create the Nissan Skyline). The car managed to cause keen interest even before its official advent on the Russian market - the first Infiniti FX are known for the American versions imported by private individuals and gray dealers. There are, of course, disadvantages. For example, a modest trunk, lack of niches for storage, a quick loss of price due to the low prevalence of the brand, a large tax on gasoline modifications.
