 The Lexus IS250 is equipped with a 2.5-liter, direct-injection 6-cylinder V-twin petrol engine inherited from the previous generation (XE20) and the advanced Dual VVT-i variable valve timing system. The maximum engine output is 207 horsepower, achieved at 6400 rpm, and the maximum torque is 250 Nm (at 4800 rpm). Power is transmitted to the rear drive wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift capability.
