LS600h - the representative of the fourth generation Lexus LS (XF40 series) with a hybrid engine. The car became the third hybrid model in which all-wheel drive systems and the Lexus Hybrid Drive system were combined. The car is unique in its own way, since it became the first hybrid executive car in the world. It is distinguished by excellent sound insulation, and only high-quality materials that have passed the strictest selection are used in the cabin. For the first time, the machine is standardly equipped with LED spotlights with three lenses. The Russian premiere of the new model took place in 2007. After restyling in 2012, an updated version for Russian buyers is offered in the “F Sport Luxury” package, which, as the name suggests, is adapted for lovers of active driving and offers sports front seats with enhanced lateral support, a steering wheel with the F SPORT logo, aluminum pedals door sills. The car in this version is very rich in equipment, the list of which includes: automatic power windows of all four doors, electric steering column and front seats (with memory settings steering wheel, side mirrors, driver and passenger seats in 3 positions), heated and ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, a push-button start system, smart keys and an intelligent car access system, steering wheel heating, electrically operated sunshade, power tailgate, electric sunroof. For entertainment, information and communication, there are: a central 12.3 "monitor, a 5.7" color multi-function TFT display in the center of the instrument panel, a navigation system, a Remote touch joystick on the center console, and Mark Levinson premium audio system completes the list with 19 speakers. The hybrid LS600h is distinguished by its power plant - a five-liter 394-horsepower V8 is docked with a CVT and a 165-kilowatt electric motor, thanks to which the total power is 445 hp. The hybrid has only a “constantly four-wheel drive” version (“razdatka” and Torsen differential), although other versions can have rear-wheel drive. The LS600h transmission is continuously variable electronically controlled. The car guarantees a smooth, powerful and confident acceleration. From zero to 100 km / h it accelerates in just 6.1 seconds. And the maximum speed is limited to 250 km / h. For 100 km, the car consumes 9.3 liters, and CO2 emissions are extremely low - no more than 199 g / km in the combined cycle. The car makes it possible to use the fully electric mode (Electric Vehicle), which provides almost silent movement in the complete absence of harmful emissions.

 Specifically designed for the LS600h, the Torsen limited slip differential delivers 40% of the torque to the front axle and 60% to the rear. The standard equipment includes adaptive adjustable suspension (AVS) and steering with variable gear ratio VGRS, which adapts to driving speed. For traffic jams there is a Brake Hold function. Also standard equipment of the model includes an advanced integrated vehicle dynamics control system (Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management, VDIM), which combines eight standard active systems and more effectively controls driving and acceleration control modes for maximum safety. The F Sport version features stiffer sport air suspension, active anti-roll bars and Brembo six-piston calipers at the front.

 Continuing the theme of safety, it can be noted that the driver and passengers are protected by a complex of eight airbags (front two-stage, front knee - driver and passenger, front side, curtain type for the entire length of the cabin). The equipment also includes active front seat head restraints, child restraints, an assistance system when leaving the parking lot in reverse, tire pressure monitoring, and a system for automatically switching high beams to dipped with dimming of the oncoming car blind zone. Lexus LS600h became the quintessence of the technical potential that accumulated in the bowels of the two brands. The crisis did not allow the Japanese to develop a representative of the next generation, so the manufacturer limited himself to only processing the existing LS generation, and twice. With the latest update, the car was supplemented with new equipment, it became even safer and more luxurious. If you need a higher level of comfort, you should look at the long-version with a long base - LS600hL, which offers more space at the back and an expanded list of equipment, right up to the ottoman chair behind the front passenger seat.
