After the popular Suzuki Wagon R minivan survived the complete replacement of its lineup, the same thing happened with the twin model - the Mazda AZ-Wagon. So, in October 1998, the second-generation AZ-Wagon was released.

The gearbox is either a 5-speed manual or a 3-speed automatic. And only on the model RR-F Turbo was a 4-speed "automatic". For some categories of the car, an option was provided when the transmission control knob is located on the steering column.
