The fourth-generation Mazda Bongo truck was introduced in 1999. The car is produced with right-hand drive and is intended for sales in the Japanese market. In 2012, it was announced that this generation would be the last for the model. Since 2016, they began to install the anti-lock braking system (ABS) on the car without fail, the production of modifications with double rear wheels was discontinued, and keyless start became available on all versions.
