In 1989, Mazda began production of its cars under the Eunos brand. One of the pioneers was the Eunos 300 sedan, which sales began in October. The car was sold only in Japan, because only right-hand drive modifications were produced. The Eunos 300 sedan was no longer manufactured in 1992, at the same time as the Mazda Persona, on the basis of which it was created, was completed.
The Eunos 300 sedan differs from the Mazda Persona by a radiator grille, a rear spoiler designed to improve aerodynamics, and rear combined four-lamp lamps. The car is made without support struts in the cabin. Differences between the models can be found in the interior design. The Junos 300 sedan in the base was offered with sports seats and an ashtray provided for smokers.

The Eunos 300 was equipped with a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic. All modifications of the "Japanese" were front-wheel drive. Car suspension - suspension struts with coil springs and stabilizers. Brakes - disc (ventilated installed in front).

Motors with a capacity of 1.8 liters (115 hp) and 2.0 liters (145 hp and 150 hp) were installed on the car. All engines were powered by gasoline. Combined fuel consumption is 8.1 - 11.5 liters. The fuel tank has a capacity of 60 liters.

The dimensions of the Eunos 300 were as follows: length - 4550 mm, width - 1695 mm, height - 1335 mm. Wheelbase - 2575 mm. Ground clearance - 15 centimeters. Eunos 300 sedan is designed for landing of five people. Head restraints for rear passengers are not provided.

The Yunos 300 sedan was originally available in two trim levels: Type A and Type B, but in March 1991, the Type X version was introduced, featuring new aluminum rims.

The basic version of Type A includes front fog lights, power steering, power side mirrors, power windows, climate control, leather-wrapped steering wheel and cassette player. Steering wheel height adjustment available. The Type B trim is complemented by leather seats.
