Coupe
In 1991, the Eunos Presso coupe began production, which replaced the Mazda Etude. The car became the third in the lineup of the newly-formed Eunos brand after the sports models Roadster and Cosmo. A design feature was the presence of a third door, which turned the car into a kind of hatchback. This type of body was called cumback and was distinguished by a vertical cut in the back. This provided the best aerodynamic properties. For similar purposes, a rear spoiler was installed on the machine.
Eunos Presso became the first multi-door car in the lineup of the young company. After the release of Eunos Presso, production of other multi-door vehicles was also launched at the Eunos facilities: Eunos 100, 300, 500. Eunos Presso was produced for the Japanese market, therefore only right-hand drive modifications were available. In other markets, the coupe was produced under the names Mazda MX-3 and Autozam AZ-3. Under the name Eunos 30X, the car was known in Australia. The release of the three-door coupe was discontinued in March 1998.

Initially, only a 1.8-liter (140 hp) six-cylinder engine was installed on the Eunos Presso coupe. In 1993, the range of engines was expanded to include a one and a half liter engine with four cylinders. In total, four types of engines were installed on the Eunos Presso: two 1.5-liter (115 and 120 liters. s.) and two 1.8-liter (140 and 145 hp). All engines were powered by gasoline. Fuel consumption is 6.9 - 11.1 liters in the combined cycle. The volume of the fuel tank is 50 liters.

On the coupe Eunos Presso installed a four-speed automatic or five-speed mechanics. Set from the first hundred takes place in 8.5 seconds, and the maximum speed of the car is 202 km / h. All modifications were front-wheel drive. Suspension Eunos Presso - suspension strut with stabilizers (front - McPherson). In some versions, the limited slip differential is optionally available. Ventilated disc brakes are installed on the front of the car, drum (for versions with a 1.5 liter engine) or disc (for versions with a 1.8 liter engine) are installed on the rear.

The dimensions of the car were as follows: length - 4215 mm, width - 1695 mm, height - 1310 mm. Wheelbase - 2455 mm. Ground clearance - 14 centimeters. There is room for four passengers in the passenger compartment, but there is not enough free space behind to sit comfortably. This is due to the large volume of the trunk, accommodating 330 liters.

The Eunos Presso coupe was produced in the complete sets Si, Sport, Fi-X, Hi-X, GT, GT-A and GT-X. The basic equipment included a power steering, electric side mirrors, an adjustable steering column and power stiffnesses in the doors. Other configurations featured front fog lights, power windows, a cassette player, climate control, a sunroof, leather-wrapped steering wheel and a front driver's airbag.
