 Together with the new HR15DE engine (109 hp, 148 Nm), the variator returned to the line of hatchback assemblies (it was also offered for second-generation cars), but, of course, in a modernized version, providing very high fuel economy and allowing a powerful engine to consume everything 5 liters per 100 km. In the sports version, this modification is represented by version 15SR-A. The previous March 12SR sports hatchback with a 1.2-liter engine has also been improved. Engine tuning was carried out by specialists from the famous Japanese company Autech, it has an increased compression ratio, a modified cam shape and a reduced flywheel weight. In addition, a stainless steel manifold was installed, throttle inlets were galvanized. The power of the unit, working with MKPP5, has grown to 110 hp, which is quite good for such a small car as March. The modification with the 1.4-liter engine was left alone - in an all-wheel drive version (97 hp) and on the “automatic”. The 1.2 liter engine (90 hp, mechanics or automatic) was installed on the simplest versions of the hatchback.

 The updated Nissan March of the third generation (K12) 2005-2007 has an independent front suspension and rear semi-independent. The drive of the machine is front or full in combination with a 1.4 liter engine (e-4WD system with a separate electric motor and gearbox on the rear axle). But it’s also practical cars, because the 5-door March is now selected as the base body, rather than the 3-door, as one might assume. Nissan March is still distinguished by high quality production, engine reliability. However, there are also disadvantages. The bodies are not well protected against corrosion, the suspension is stiff. The e-4WD system helps on slippery roads, but is useless in snowdrifts and dirt and does not work when the ABS malfunctions.
