Three- or five-door hatchback Nissan Micra belongs to the European compact class B. For the European market, Nissan Micra assembled at Nissan's factory in the UK. The design of the car was developed by Japanese manufacturers in conjunction with Renault, and the interior was designed by European manufacturers in the European Design Studio Nissan. In the Russian market, Nissan Micra is offered with two types of gasoline engines of the new CR family. For the most budgetary modification, a gasoline 1.2-liter engine with 65 hp is also available.
A 5-speed manual transmission is standard for the entire engine range, and in some versions the car is equipped with a 4-speed automatic transmission.
