Such a now-known name as Nissan Safari appeared back in 1980. So began to be called the car Nissan Patrol, produced for the domestic market in Japan. Prior to this, the Patrol was made mainly for use outside of Japan since 1951 and was the official car of the United Nations, having gained immense popularity. This 4th generation Patrol was launched in 1987.  There are several options for the Safari body: a short 3-door, a long 5-door, an option with normal and wide wings, an option with a normal and high roof. It is equipped with diesel engines of 2.8 and 4.2 liters. All modifications - 4-wheel drive with 4WD mechanical engagement. Depending on the configuration, Safari is available with both the simplest and the most comfortable interior.
