This SUV is equipped with one of two gasoline engines or a diesel engine. Petrol power units with a volume of 2.0 (MR20DE) and 2.5 liters (QR25DE) have a capacity of 141 and 169 liters, respectively. with. and equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox or continuously variable variator X-Tronic CVT with the ability to manually shift gears. The diesel X-Trail (mechanics or 6-speed automatic) comes with a 2-liter M9R engine with direct injection and 150 hp. The maximum torque - 320 Nm - is already achieved at 2000 rpm. In terms of energy intensity and economy, this particular equipment option seems ideal for a crossover designed for trips around the city and outside the city. The chassis of the car has also undergone changes. The car received an intelligent all-wheel drive system Intelligent All Mode 4x4-i, which reads data from ESP sensors, steering angle and accelerator pedal position. This system foresees wheel slippage and redistributes the torque between the front and rear wheels in the required proportion. The front of the car has an independent McPherson spring suspension mounted on a subframe, and the rear has an independent multi-link suspension.
