Suzuki Twin 1 generation 01.2003 - 12.2005

Twin is a 2-seater city car. It was created on the basis of the Suzuki Alto, but the wheelbase was reduced, so the length of the Twin body is only a little more than 2.7 meters. The minimum turning radius is 3.6 meters. Thanks to its ultra-compact dimensions, the car is extremely practical, there are no problems with it when parking in Japanese city multi-level parking lots. As for the internal space, it is quite enough to accommodate two people. Behind the seats there is a space that can be used for luggage.
  The event was that Twin, the first among small cars, can be equipped with a hybrid system. In “hybrid” versions, an electric motor is added to a conventional engine, which acts as an auxiliary source of driving force in case of heavy load on the engine. Modifications on which the hybrid system is installed are equipped with only a 4-speed automatic gearbox. The fuel consumption of these cars does not exceed 1 liter per 30 km of track (about 3.3 liters per 100 km). Twin petrol versions are equipped with a 660cc inline 3-cylinder DOHC engine with a capacity of 44 hp. Depending on the configuration, the Twin is equipped with a 3-speed automatic or 5-speed manual transmission.
