Restyling of the third-generation Toyota Camry in the back of the V30 took place in June 1992. Changes are normal: a different design of the grille, a new front bumper, and other combined rear lights. For all trim levels, a fully automatic air conditioning is standardly offered, with the replacement of freon with a more environmentally friendly agent.  Changes in the interior design of the Toyota Camry V30 (1992-1994) can be considered insignificant, more significant was the fact that the manufacturer abandoned the sports versions of the GT with the Twin Cam 3S-GE engine, but the Touring class was offered the ZX package as a replacement Touring Package ”, where the standard equipment included 15-inch alloy wheels of the original design, a rear spoiler and fog lights, a leather steering wheel and a column adjustable in two planes, an electronic instrument panel. In general, as before, there are no complaints about Toyota Camry comfort: climate control, air ionizer control (depending on the configuration) and TEMS suspension tuning modes (“sport” and “normal”) and other equipment were considered good form.

 After restyling, the third generation Toyota Camry (V30) continues to be equipped with two four-cylinder gasoline engines: the base 4S-FE with a working volume of 1.8 liters (its capacity increased from 115 to 125 liters. sec.) in combination with a 5-speed “mechanics” or 4-speed “automatic”, as well as a two-liter 3S-FE unit with a volume of 2.0 liters with a return of 140 “forces”. With this engine, four-wheel drive was available for both types of transmission (5MT and 4AT), in this case the engine power is 135 hp. Still, buyers could choose a diesel option - with a 2C-T engine rated at 91 “power” (“mechanics” or “automatic”). It is worth mentioning the Camry Prominent in the back of the Hardtop - these machines were equipped with 6-cylinder 4VZ-FE engines with a volume of 2.5 liters (175 hp).

 Independent suspension Toyota Camry (V30) has a high level of comfort. Front and back are MacPherson struts. This design made it possible to use the 4WS system (for individual trim levels) with rear steering wheels when turning the front wheels, thus increasing maneuverability: at high speeds - when changing from one row to another and in turns, at low speed - when maneuvering in the parking lot. The car is equipped with a brake system with ventilated discs on the front wheels, rear brakes drum or disc. Steering - type "gear rack" with power steering. Roomy luggage space can be increased by folding the second row seats.  For the safety of the driver and passengers of Toyota Camry (V30) 1992-1994 there are three-point seat belts (front with height adjustment), standard side beams in the doors in all trim levels, child seat mounts, tilt-adjustable front seat head restraints (optional), optional pillow driver safety and anti-lock brakes. The third-generation Toyota Camry after restyling (1992-1994) is a solid car with a high level of comfort and inexpensive price. But, given the age, you should be prepared for any surprises and further investments. Therefore, preference should be given not so much to the configuration as to the general technical condition. Although well-preserved specimens like the ZX touring package 4WS will certainly be an excellent option, while the presence of a working 4WS on a particular vehicle can indirectly judge the careful operation.
