The second generation Toyota Estima, which appeared on the market in 2000, is the leader among minivans. The previous generation of the model was different from the current traditional front-wheel drive. The Estima comes with two engine variations: a new 2.4-liter 4-cylinder in-line engine with DOHC gas distribution system and a 3-liter 6-cylinder V-engine with the same gas distribution system. Estima is equipped with all-wheel drive with an active control function.
 The originality of the exterior of this car is manifested in the characteristic hard lines of the body and slanted headlights. The width and height of the car became smaller compared to the previous generation, but the wheelbase increased by 40 mm.

 Two Estima doors are equipped with closers, rear doors come off sliding along the body, you can also buy a car with an automatic sliding door. The second generation of Estima and the first are related by the opportunity to place eight people in the cabin according to the “2-3-3” model.

 The Estima Hybrid model appeared as a result of the installation of the THS-C hybrid system on the second generation Estima minivan, which includes a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine and an electric motor. Installation is in combination with the CVT Super CVT, which ensures smooth vehicle movement when shifting gears. The fuel consumption of the hybrid model is only 5.6 liters per 100 km (according to the 10-15 standard). Stability and controllability of the car is improved due to the installation of an additional rear motor that distributes torque between the wheels depending on road conditions. The interior is decorated in a futuristic style, the design of the instrument panel has been modified, the multi-information display has received a metallic finish. From a hybrid installation, you can power various electrical appliances that consume up to 1,500 watts.
