Sedan
The second generation of the middle-class sedan, combining a fairly spacious interior and compact external dimensions, making it easy to maneuver in conditions of Japanese traffic. The updated model is equipped with an engine capacity of 1.5 or 1.8 liters and a CVT. Particularly rigid body and a new suspension improved sound insulation. The appearance of the car, in comparison with the Toyota Allion (and this is the closest relative to Premio), is more restrained and with a hint of luxury. The first thing that catches the eye is a self-confident front end and an airy silhouette “in profile”, one cannot but note the elegant chrome trim of the body elements. The interior gives the impression of an even higher class. In the second generation, it became 80 mm higher and 55 mm wider, the rear seats are now equipped with a backrest tilt adjustment mechanism. The basic equipment also includes a rearview monitor and a remote access system and engine start. (June 2007)
The settings of the engine, transmission, electric generator of the front-wheel drive model, equipped with an engine capacity of 1.5 liters, were revised, as a result - more efficient fuel consumption. In 10-15 mode, the car consumes 5.4 liters of gasoline per 100 km (previously - 5.6 liters). The changes affected not only the basic equipment, but also equipment for people with disabilities Welcab. (October 2009)

The design of the front of the body is slightly changed, the quality of materials in the cabin is improved. The 1.8-liter model received the innovative Valvematic variable valve timing system, which contributes to a more efficient use of engine power and reduces environmental impact. In this regard, all models (with an engine capacity of 1.5 liters, 1.8 liters and 2 liters) now receive a 50% tax credit. (April 2010)

In June 2010, a 1.5-liter version of Premio went on sale with improved engine and transmission performance - this model now claims a 75% tax reduction. The same changes affected not only the basic equipment, but also equipment for people with disabilities Welcab. (June 2010)
