Sedan
Toyota Verossa is a rear-wheel drive sedan, created on the basis of the 110 Series Mark II and has a distinctive style. The strong-willed lines of the body emphasize its special grace, which distinguishes Verossa from other Japanese cars. "Italian style" characterizes the departure from the conservative design of the Chaser / Cresta era. The company presented the Verossa model as an “emotional sedan,” luxurious in appearance and stylish inside: an extraordinary interior design with a claim to sportiness - in the spirit of the best European cars. Six-cylinder engines are under the hood: a base 2.0 liter (160 hp), a more productive 2.5 liter (200 hp) or a 2.5 liter turbo engine (280 hp) for the most powerful VR25 modification.
The catchy combination of decoration of different colors in the interior of Toyota Verossa does not introduce an element of bad taste - on the contrary, the interior of the sedan looks sensual and rich, this is also noticeable in the quality of the materials used. The rounded air vents of the air conditioner effectively complement the design of the front panel, leaving a deep impression. As well as combined seat upholstery with a combination of textured fabric and suede. The driver's seat has 8 adjustments, the display of the multimedia system has taken a comfortable position in the upper part of the center console. The standard equipment includes climate control, a central armrest with a spacious compartment, and highlighting the space at the feet of the driver and passenger. The top performance includes an electric drive for adjusting the front seats, a navigation system, and a CD changer. Verossa installed similar Mark II engines equipped with the VVT-i system. The most “high-speed” modification VR25 received a 6-cylinder in-line engine 1JZ-GTE with a gas distribution type DOHC and turbocharging, developing a power of 280 hp Verossa can also be equipped with a 6-cylinder 160-horsepower 1G-FE in-line engine of 2 liters and a 200-horsepower 6-cylinder 2.5-liter engine 1JZ-FSE. Models with a 2-liter unit can be equipped with all-wheel drive. Depending on the modification, the efficiency indicators were estimated at 9.4-12.4 km / l, which corresponds to a consumption of 8.06-10.63 liters of gasoline per 100 km.

As on the Mark II, the Toyota Verossa sedan uses independent double wishbone suspension on all four wheels, which can be attributed to another feature of the sports style of this car. The car is equipped with disc brakes (front ventilated), power steering. Modification V25 is equipped with a progressive type power steering, the nature of which depends on speed. The entry-level cars were equipped with 195 / 65R15 wheels, the more powerful modifications received 205 / 55R16 tires, and the top versions were equipped with emphasized 215 / 45ZR17 sports tires. The length of the body of the sedan reaches a value of 4705 mm, and the width and height are 1760 and 1450-1465 mm, respectively. The distance between the axles is 2780 mm, and the minimum turning radius is 5.3-5.4 meters. A decent wheelbase makes the cabin more spacious for rear passengers. Interior dimensions 1950 x 1480 x 1180mm. Trunk volume 443 liters.

Toyota Verossa's standard safety features include dual front airbags, three-point seat belts on all seats (including the rear center), headrests with enhanced protection against whiplash injuries, and ABS, EBD and braking assistance. For an extra charge, side airbags and curtain airbags, traction control systems and vehicle stabilization were installed. The car has a rugged body.

The Toyota Verossa sedan is able to give pleasant emotions both with its extraordinary design and excellent driving characteristics. Being one tribe with the Mark II family, this car is notable for its simplicity of construction and relatively low cost of operation. However, body parts are unlikely to be cheap. Engines are highly reliable, but only if you do not save on fuel and maintenance.
