Toyota WiLL Cypha - the third car created in the framework of the WiLL project, which was the result of combining industries of different nature. Like its predecessor WiLL Vi, the same Vitz served as the basis for the new hatchback. The name Cypha comes from two English words: Cyber and Phaeton. The main idea underlying this model is the creation of an intelligent car. This is realized, in particular, thanks to the latest G-BOOK system, which is a Toyota information service. For example, the latest news can be received through the G-BOOK information network in the car, and in addition, you can send and receive e-mail through it. The WiLL Cypha hatchback was offered in front-wheel drive with a 1.3-liter engine and all-wheel drive with a 1.5-liter engine.
Four headlights, stylishly elongated along the ovals in front of the car, a rounded cab shape, impressive wings convey a sense of exceptional WiLL Cypha. The interior design was based on a circle. When creating WiLL Cypha, the idea of creating a “cyber capsule” was also realized - merging information networks and a car into a single unit. The G-BOOK telematics system with support for SD cards and navigation provided access to a wide range of infotainment services. The large central control panel G-BOOK is equipped with an air conditioning control system and an audio system, which greatly facilitates the process of driving a car. At the same time, the standard audio device has a full 2DIN size. The standard equipment also includes vertical steering wheel adjustment, a rear wiper, power accessories for controlling mirrors, windows and door locks, climate control.

On the WiLL Cypha in the 2WD modification, a 4-cylinder in-line engine 2NZ-FE with a volume of 1.3 liters and a capacity of 87 hp is installed. (at 6000 rpm) and a torque of 121 Nm (at 4400 rpm). Under the hood of the 4WD model is the same inline “four”, but with a working volume of 1.5 liters and a capacity of 105 hp. (at 6000 rpm) and a torque of 138 Nm (at 4200 rpm). Both engines are equipped with a 4-speed automatic transmission. Gasoline consumption in 10/15 mode for these modifications is 5.6 and 6.8 l / 100km. The fuel tank has a capacity of 45 liters.

Toyota WiLL Cypha suspension scheme is similar to Toyota Vitz. Front suspension - spring strut with coil spring. Rear - torsion bar suspension on springs in the front-wheel drive model or dependent spring suspension in the rear-wheel drive. Disc brakes front and drum rear, power steering. The minimum turning radius for WiLL Cypha is slightly larger than for Witz: 4.9 m versus 4.3. The standard wheel size is 175 / 65R14. The body length reaches 3695 mm. Width and height - 1675 and 1535 mm. Thus, the WiLL Cypha hatchback is 35 mm longer than the Vitz, 15 mm wider and 35 mm higher. Interior dimensions: 1810 x 1415 x 1290 mm. For comparison, the Toyota Vitz interior measures 1815 x 1380 x 1265 mm. In the front-wheel drive modification, the WiLL Cypha has a mass of 990 kg, and in the all-wheel drive - 1090 kg, which is about 80 kg more than the Witz in the same version. Trunk volume 140 liters. It can be increased due to the folding design of the rear seats.  WiLL Cypha, like Vitz, will offer two airbags (driver and front passenger), anti-lock brakes, child seat mounts, three-point seat belts. The passive safety system upon impact meets strict considerations: a ruggedized body has stiffening amplifiers in the doors and programmed deformation zones.

The WiLL Cypha hatchback looks very original, despite its size it is quite convenient inside and comfortable (by the standards of the class, of course). The car is unpretentious, economical, has a simple and reliable design. However, hatchback sales could not rise to the proper level (as in the case of WiLL Vi, a specific design played a significant role in this), and soon after the appearance of a less extravagant model of the same Toyota Passo class, WiLL Cypha was discontinued.
