The 6th generation Accord in the European version appeared in 1998. From the American and Japanese counterparts, this car has significant differences both in the exterior / interior, and in the power units. At the same time, the engine is dynamic at high speeds - and this is also the merit of the VTEC system. The maximum speed of the sedan reaches 200-210 km / h, and the acceleration time from standstill to 100 km / h in the version with a 5-speed "mechanics" - 10 seconds (one second longer for a car with a 4-speed automatic transmission). It is worth noting that with proper maintenance (the use of high-quality fuel and oil, timely replacement of the timing belt, etc.), the engine is able to please with a long trouble-free operation.
On the positive side, the 6th generation Accord sedan is distinguished by driving performance. The car uses the well-proven double independent linkage suspension of lever type on all four wheels.
