The combination of a beveled “front end” and a trapezoidal radiator grill, implemented in the design of the Galant Fortis, will in future become a “calling card” for Mitsubishi sedans. The new 2-liter engine with variable valve timing, which is equipped with a car, has high environmental performance. In the lineup, it is worth noting the “Sports” modification, which has a more sporty appearance, sports suspension and shift paddles for the convenience of shifting gears. (August 2007)

In addition, the content of some configurations has been revised; from the innovations, it is worth paying attention to the “ECO” light bulb, which stimulates drivers to drive in an economical mode. To the existing Galant Fortis model, presented in the sedan, a 5-door hatchback - Galant Fortis Sportback was added. The front of the body is borrowed from the Ralliart, a sports modification of the Galant Fortis sedan, but the side and back of the body have an individual design, more reminiscent of the design of the coupe. It is equipped with a 2-liter inline 4-cylinder DOHC engine with or without a turbine. As for the transmission, it’s basically a 6-speed variator, but TC-SST is installed on the powerful Ralliart models. The car is presented in three versions: the base Touring, rich in Sports and the already mentioned Ralliart. At the same time, “Touring” and “Sports” are produced both in front-wheel drive and in all-wheel drive versions, and “Ralliart” - only in 4WD version. (December 2, 2008)
