Sedan
In February 2008, Nissan launched an updated version of the executive sedan Nissan Cima, which has been produced since 2001. This is the second restyling of the model. Nissan has taken the car quite seriously, significantly changing the appearance of the sedan and its interior. Nissan Cima received a new front bumper, false radiator grill, hood, moldings, rear bumper and rear combination lights. Due to the increase in bumpers, the length of the car increased to 5120 mm. Back in 2007, the car was deprived of a 3.0 V6 turbo engine, so there was only one modification - with a 4.5-liter V8 engine. But options with rear or all-wheel drive are available.
If due to various “frills” the car was tried to be made more solid externally, then the interior of the Nissan Cima changes a bit more modest: the color of the coating in the cabin changed, the decorative panels made of wood were painted dark red, in previous versions of the Cima the panels were painted dark or light brown. Changes to the equipment list include navigation compatible with Carwings, it is included in standard equipment (450XL equipment) along with ETC, fog lights and alloy wheels, leather interior and climate control, electric front seats, two-way steering column adjustment, DVD system. As an option, a sunroof, electric rear seat drive (VIP) and more were offered. Since 2008, only one power unit can be found under the hood of the Nissan Cima F50 - this is the naturally-aspirated VK45DE engine, 8-cylinder, V-shaped, DOHC, with a displacement of 4.5 liters. Developed power - 280 hp Rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive with traction on all four wheels. Rear-wheel drive cars are equipped with a 5-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode, all-wheel drive - 4-speed automatic transmission.  The chassis of the Nissan Cima F50 has a rack-mount front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension. The car is equipped with ventilated disc brakes. After another change Nissan Cima the most “sporty” performance is now the 450XV with 17-inch wheels, 225 / 55R17 tires and a vehicle dynamics control system. Wheels of standard versions have a landing size of 16 inches (tires 225 / 60R16). The dimensions of the sedan in later versions (since 2008): length 5120 mm (+ 125 mm), width and height remained the same - 1845 mm and 1490-1505 mm. The car has a wheelbase of 2870 mm, the minimum turning radius is relatively small - 5.3 m. The saloon of the sedan measures 2000 x 1530 x 1200 mm (L x W x H), so there is no lack of space either in front or behind. As for the trunk, its volume approaches 400 liters, there is a hatch for transporting skis. The second modernization also contributed to improving the safety of the car. The expansion of the front and rear bumpers contributes to better absorption of energy upon impact. In accordance with the new requirements, the design of the hood has been changed. Standard equipment includes front and side airbags, ABS, EBD and BA systems, a shock-sensitive door lock release system, three-point seat belts (front with pretensioners and restraints). There is a limited slip differential with a viscous coupling in the rear axle, a VDC stabilization system, lane tracking systems and intelligent cruise control, active head light control, etc.

The fourth-generation Nissan Cima (F50) differs from its predecessors in a fundamentally new appearance that best emphasizes the premium-sporty character of this car. Comfortable seats with excellent support, "full stuffing" of expensive trim levels, a spacious interior, powerful engines - the model has many pluses. If the owners complain about something, then this is most often high fuel consumption, demanding maintenance, expensive suspension repairs. In 2010, the model along with Nissan President was discontinued, completing its 22-year history. The flagship of the company becomes the Fuga sedan. In 2012, the name Cima again returned to the company's lineup, but in fact it comes to the top model Fuga (Y51) with a long base and a hybrid power plant.
