SUV
This Nissan model is focused primarily on the European market (where it is known as Qashqai), so all development, except for the platform, was carried out in Europe. From there, Dualis was shipped to the Japanese market until local production was launched in December 2007. This crossover combines external SUV data with the convenience and compactness of a hatchback. The black trim running along the bottom of the body also evokes associations with a powerful SUV. The interior is dominated by a solid black color, which is complemented by sports accents. The car is intended primarily for urban use, therefore it is produced mainly in a single-drive version. The Dualis body has excellent aerodynamic data, and its rear is assembled from reinforced structures. Driving performance is optimal for most conditions thanks to shock absorbers from Sachs (a well-known manufacturer of spare parts for sports cars) and the latest electronically controlled variator with up to 700 combinations. (May 2007)
Safety measures have been increased on all models: the basic equipment now includes curtain airbags and side airbags for the driver and front passenger. (December 2008)

The design of the grille has changed. All models are now equipped with chrome side moldings and front fog lights. By popular demand of buyers, an optional version of beige seat upholstery has appeared. Modification of “20G FOUR” came under preferential taxation as an eco-car. (September 2009)
