Nissan Silvia is a sports model with rear-wheel drive. This is the seventh generation of the model, the release of which began in 1999. According to Nissan manufacturers, returning to the 5-seat Silvia is a strategically successful solution.
Two types of engines are installed on the Nissan Silvia: an inline 4-cylinder SR20 with a 165-hp DOHC type of gas distribution (in the case of automatic transmission - 160 hp) or its turbo version (in this case, engine power reaches 250 l. pp., with automatic transmission - 225 hp). Silvia is also equipped with the VCS electronic valve timing system, which greatly increases engine power.

Under the concept of "sports car" is more suitable model with a turbo engine, where for every horsepower of power accounts for 5 kg of vehicle weight. According to its technical characteristics, Silvia in the S15 body is similar to the previous generation of this model - in the S14 body, but the brake system is more durable and the limited slip differential is used in the tuning suspension. It should be noted that this model is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The Nissan Silvia is an auto-opening roof model that was first unveiled at the 1999 Tokyo Auto Show. Compared to Toyota’s models of the same type, the Nissan Silvia has a more comfortable metal roof control.
Due to its size, this car is very obedient to drive, has high stability on the roads, and a particularly comfortable cabin. The cabin has 4 seats, but the rear seats are small in size. On this model, only a 4-cylinder in-line engine with a gas distribution type DOHC is installed.
