The second restyling affected the Toyota Corolla Wagon in 1995. Again minor external changes. But more importantly, after the change of the Corolla generation to the E110, all versions of the 100 Series passenger station wagons got the engines, transmissions and suspension from the departed sedan. Due to this, in the Touring Wagon lineup, all-wheel drive modifications equipped with a 4A-FE engine, as well as models with diesel engines, appeared. Later, the company introduced the new top sports model BZ touring, which is equipped with a high-performance 1.6-liter 4A-GE engine, the power of which is brought up to 165 hp.
Of greatest interest in the Corolla Touring Wagon lineup from 1995-1997 is the “charged” version of the BZ Touring. This is the first true sports station wagon in the Toyota Corolla line, which makes us talk about a fundamentally different approach both to the technical part and to the interior equipment. This model is fully equipped, equipped with all disc brakes, sports seats, the original "tidy" with white circles. In May 1996, the special L Touring Limited series was launched, which featured an exclusive body color with navy blue mother of pearl and special seat upholstery. In October 1996, “limited” versions of L-touring and G-touring with improved equipment appeared. After the second restyling, Corolla Touring Wagon buyers got more options for choosing a powertrain. The basic front-wheel drive models are still equipped with a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder 5A-FE engine with a capacity of 100 hp. The 1.6-liter 4A-FE engine, developing 115 "forces", was now offered with all-wheel drive modifications. Diesel Touring Wagon equipped with a 2.0-liter 2C-III capacity of 73 liters. with. The top of the lineup is the sports BZ Touring with its 165th “horses” under the hood, thanks to the high-performance 4A-GE powertrain of the DOHC20 type with a 5-valve VVT.

The Corolla Touring Wagon E100 has a completely independent suspension system (suspension strut like MacPherson strut). All station wagons have a gear-rack steering, power steering is included in the standard equipment. Combined type brakes (front disc, rear drum) are both efficient, simple and reliable. The BZ Touring has full disc brakes. External body dimensions: length 4260-4270 mm, width 1685, height 1435-1450 mm. Wheelbase 2465 mm. The turning radius of 4.8 meters. Interior dimensions: 1785 x 1420 x 1185 mm (L x W x H). The roomy Touring Wagon trunk is more than doubled if you fold the back of the back sofa (divided by 60:40). The luggage compartment closes the curtain, which does not take up much space when removed.

After the second restyling, the Touring Wagon experienced some security changes. Now all models without exception are equipped with a driver's pillow and anti-lock braking system. The car has a safe body with protective bars in the doors, an additional brake light, three-point side belts in the rear seats and an indication lamp for an unfastened driver’s belt. Obviously safer driving on a slippery road becomes with a 4WD system.

"Corolla" Corolla became the undoubted success of Toyota. Touring Wagon models were highly regarded for their comfort and great looks. In the right-hand drive segment, these cars have long been considered almost an example of reliability, maintainability and that of endurance in general. But this does not negate the large number of frankly "tired" machines that may require additional investment. When choosing a used car from among the Corolla Touring Wagon, preference should be given to cars of the final phase of production - since 1997, the station wagon has not only changed outwardly, it has become safer and got more options.
