Since the function of the "family" car completely and completely passed to the car class "minivan", sedans of the middle class have noticeably "gone into the shadows." Meanwhile, no one ever disputed their practical merits. And although the popularity of this class of machines has waned, they continue to improve little by little. And as evidence of this claim, Toyota has launched two sister sedans: Allion and Premio. The Allion model is a direct descendant of Toyota Carina, and the Premio, respectively, is the Toyota Corona (Premio) model.
The mechanical part of both models is almost identical, although, taking into account the appearance, Allion looks more like a sports car, while the Premio model looks simpler, without claiming prestige. The most attractive side of the car can be considered its optimal dimensions from the point of view of Japanese roads, and, along with this, a spacious interior and a roomy trunk. I especially want to highlight the comfort of the rear seats and the cargo capacity of the luggage compartment. It should also be replaced that the rear seatbacks can be tilted both forward and backward. As for engines, there are three types of them, which differ in the volume of cylinders: 1.5-liter, 1.8-liter and 2-liter engines. All three engines have 4 cylinders and two camshafts. The difference with the 1.8-liter engine is that there is an all-wheel drive option. As for the 2-liter engine, it comes in combination with a CVT variator.
