SUV
Vanguard took the place of the departed Kluger in the Toyota lineup. This is a high-end crossover based on the RAV4, with a spacious interior that seats up to seven people. The key concepts of the model are proclaimed an active lifestyle and increased comfort. All models in the line are all-wheel drive. Both five-seater and seven-seater options are available. The belonging of the model to a high class is manifested in everything: the exterior features of the SUV, the chrome trim of the body elements, and also for the first time at Toyota - the “bronze” finish. The decision about what will be the interior of the car is largely left to the owner - after all, the location of the seats can be changed in various ways. The third row of seats can be completely removed under the floor and thereby get a huge trunk. The list of standard equipment includes the intelligent Active Torque Control 4WD system, which redistributes torque between the axles depending on road conditions, as well as the S-VSC stability control system, which is integrated with the steering, brake system and vehicle drive system. (August 2007)
The interior color “Fawn” (tan) has been replaced by “Sand Beige” (sand-beige), a dark gray color is also available. Cars are now equipped with “active head restraints,” which reduce the risk of injuries in a collision when the impact is on the rear of the car. A single-drive version of the model with a 2.4-liter engine is added. (August 2008)

Improved settings for the front-wheel drive electric generator of the 2.4-liter model. As a result, more efficient fuel consumption. A new 240S S Package is available, including painted wing extenders and 18-inch alloy wheels. The design of the elements in the other modifications has been slightly changed. (February 2010)
